My doctoral research was a retrospective study focused on different acupuncture styles at Harborview Medical Center, a Trauma-1 Center. This study found that participants who received whole body acupuncture treatment had a statistically significant greater improvement in pain scores, pre and post treatment, versus those who only received acupuncture treatment using National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) protocol.
